Following the sprawling collection of the Nashville legend's debut for Fire, 'Napolean of Temperance' (Uncut top 30 of 2006), Dave Cloud returns with a shorter but equally warped statement of intent: 'Pleasure Before Business'. Again featuring the talents of the Gospel of Power, a collective of Nashville's finest garage fans and rock and rollers (including members of Lambchop), Dave and the band let rip with more "transcendental psychedelic primitivism" (Sunday Times!) ranging from disturbed innocence in covers ('Yummy Yummy Yummy') to slinky perversion ('Orgy'). A true original, and "the last genuine lost genius " (Sunday Times).
